Job summary

Truist seeks a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager to provide expert level business analysis and project management for a defined portfolio. You will guide large, complex initiatives, gather and analyze information, and ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope and budget.

The role requires 5–7 years in consulting, PM or process improvement, with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Travel may be required to support project delivery across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in consulting, project management or process improvement.
• Advanced understanding of project management frameworks and large-scale initiatives.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related tools.
• Willingness to travel as needed, occasionally overnight.

Responsibilities

• Leads planning for large, complex initiatives, gathering data and presenting recommendations.
• Defines scope and milestones; manages changes to scope or timeline.
• Directs execution activities with milestones, teams, and schedules to achieve objectives.
• Prepares materials and artifacts: business cases, plans, readiness materials, and post-project follow-ups.
• Analyzes data to provide leadership with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Tracks project status and reports metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
• Maps processes for changes and suggests improvements to increase efficiency.
• Owns intake of new project requests and coordinates work across streams.
• Maintains stakeholder relationships and promotes cross-functional collaboration.
• Acts as an individual contributor with ownership of the project portfolio.
