Job summary

Normine Lombard in Oregon seeks a senior Document & Change Control Officer to own the lifecycle of product documentation, processes, and change governance. You will align R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Brand, and Regulatory to ensure compliant, timely updates and auditable records.

In this senior role, you will define company-wide document control policies, maintain records, and drive standardized practices across departments. A strong GMP background in regulated CPG environments is required.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in document control, change control, or quality systems.
• Experience with BOM, specifications, formulas, COA, artwork, and related docs.
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety frameworks (SQF, BRC) related to documentation and change management.
• Ability to drive approvals and enforce compliance while coordinating across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Update, format, and maintain product documentation (specifications, formulas, BOMs, labels, COA, supplier docs).
• Log and review proposed changes; route to R&D, Quality, Purchasing, Brand, Regulatory.
• Align execution schedules to minimize business interruptions.
• Define and formalize document and change control policies, SOPs, and standards.
• Partner with R&D, Brands, Purchasing/Vendor Management to reduce data entry and gaps.
• Keep files organized, searchable, and current for audits.
• Maintain visibility into open changes, approvals, and metrics; flag systemic issues.
• Act as go-to authority on document and change control procedures.
