Qualifications

• MS or PhD in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
• Deep understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and CFD.
• 8+ years of industry experience utilizing CFD in thermal management, in electronics/data center cooling.
• Proficient in CFD tools: ANSYS Icepak (preferred), Fluent, Flotherm.
• Ability to apply CFD for quick, accurate predictions and basic hand calculations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and mentoring junior team members.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct CFD/Thermal studies for energy server enclosures and site installations.
• Provide guidance on enclosure thermal management for product development from concept to production.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with timely, accurate predictions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feasibility studies.
• Report and present results and recommendations to Bloom Energy and customers.
• Guide flow/thermal tests and field data collection for validation.
• Expand CFD capabilities with new model developments.
