Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA), Southwest Division, is seeking a Senior Engineer/Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team working on CFD simulations for air blast, shock tubes, and energetic systems. You will analyze results, compare with experimental data, and present findings to customers and at conferences.

The role requires a Ph.D. in physics or engineering, strong technical writing, and the ability to obtain a security clearance (US citizenship).

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in physics or engineering with GPA minimum 3.0/4.0.
• Experience with CFD codes and computational fluid dynamics methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (US citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Analyze CFD results and compare with experimental data.
• Prepare technical writeups and present results at conferences and meetings with customers.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions for DoD-related programs.
