Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) / Specialty Technician to join the Murfreesboro team. You will perform field observations and inspections on diverse materials, including steel, soils, and concrete, with potential NDT/NDE duties.

You’ll collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure compliance and safety. The role emphasizes training in ECS methodologies, documentation accuracy, and mentoring teammates, with opportunities for certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASNT NDT Level II certification(s) required; additional advanced certifications preferred.
• Ability to pursue or obtain additional maximal certifications in listed categories.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs and occasionally 85 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations, inspections, and sampling of construction materials.
• Inspect structural steel connections and perform NDT/NDE as applicable.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and document findings precisely.
• Maintain equipment and coordinate with project teams and managers.
• Mentor junior technicians and follow ECS methodologies.
