Qualifications

• Must have CST certification and BLS.
• Minimum 2+ years scrub experience in a multidisciplinary surgical service.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment and sterile field setup.
• Proficiency in English language.
• Able to precept and mentor across multiple surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile dressings and instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists with terminal cleaning and prep for next patient.
• Responds to emergencies promptly and appropriately.
• Checks supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Supports surgical team during operations and patient care.
