Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision and follow policy.
• Enter patient and drug data into pharmacy systems with accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy.
• Assist scheduling and workflow management for the pharmacy.
• Process manual third-party prescription claims promptly.
• Lead inventory management and asset protection for Rx drugs.
• Support clinical services and coordination with clinics and providers.
• Assist customers at OTC aisles and handle non-pharmacist calls.
