Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician role at Walgreens. In accordance with state and federal regulations, assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assists the pharmacist in other Pharmacy Department duties per Company policies. Responsibilities include using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations. If PTCB certified, coaches other pharmacy technicians and cashiers. Key responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience: Engage customers, resolve issues, and develop relationships with valuable customers.
2. Operations: Assist in pharmacy practice, ensure accurate data entry, fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and support clinical services.
3. Training & Personal Development: Maintain PTCB certification, complete required training, and stay updated on healthcare developments.

Qualifications:

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting
• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Preferred: prior Walgreens experience, good math skills, basic PC skills, knowledge of inventory control
