Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and entering patient information.
• Assist pharmacy manager with inventory management and ordering.
• Process third party claims and handle clerical duties.
• Register sales on cash register and assist customer to OTC aisle.
• Support coordination of clinical services and Walgreens healthcare clinics.
