Job summary

Cone Health is seeking a Bone Densitometry Technologist RT Certified II to perform specialized bone density exams and manage contrast media as directed by radiologists. You will ensure high-quality imaging while minimizing dose and maintaining accurate patient records in CHL and PACS.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years as a technologist, radiology program background, and CBDT/ARRT-related certifications. On-site duties at our Greensboro, NC location with patient-centered care focus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related Educational Program.
• Certification in CBDT or ARRT preferred; CPR/BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special exams with established protocols to minimize dose and optimize quality.
• Maintains exam productivity within benchmarks for timely results.
• Completes exams and documentation in CHL and PACS for accessible patient records.
• Identifies charges associated with studies for accurate billing and reimbursement.
• Addresses errors related to final products sent to PACS to ensure data integrity.
• Follows AIDET communication framework with patients to ensure a positive care environment.
