Qualifications

• AAS Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent required.
• Current ARRT registration and NYS license required or eligible.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiology and Bone Densitometry exams as directed by Radiologist.
• Spends ~80% of time providing direct patient care; ~20% clerical/QA/education tasks.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and proper equipment operation.
• Supervises and guides students; assists Medial Staff as needed.
• Independently performs Bone Densitometry and aims to become ARRT Bone Density registered within 1 year.
