Job summary

PSI Services in the United States is seeking a Senior Test Developer to contribute expert item editing, item bank management, and test creation for certification programs. You will manage client programs, lead development meetings, and maintain item banks using PSI's software, with flexible hours around core office availability.

Remote work is supported with up to 20% travel. The role requires 3+ years in credentialing/certification test development,Bachelor’s degree, and strong proofreading

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of professional test development experience.
• Experience with large-scale testing programs, Certification/Licensure apps preferred.
• Experience with project management processes and applications preferred.
• Strong proofreading skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage clients’ item banks in proprietary testing software.
• Maintain and update items and their classifications in the item bank according to workflows.
• Edit and proofread items per grammar, spelling, and client style guides.
• Assemble test forms meeting prescribed criteria and document results.
• Lead in-person and web-based test development meetings with clients and SMEs.
• Train item writers and monitor progress toward writing assignments.
• Document decisions/outcomes from test development meetings.
• Develop and maintain timelines for test development activities and track progress in PM tools.
• Communicate requirements and progress to client reps and SMEs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of proprietary testing software.
