Job summary

Aimic Inc in Indiana is seeking a Process Engineer with experience in large-scale production of ceramic and inorganic materials. A bachelor’s degree in Ceramics, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science is required.

You will lead process development, optimize yields, support SPC and CAPA, manage equipment and ensure documentation and ISO 9001 compliance through cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Extensive experience with advanced materials.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Process Development & New Product Introduction: collaborate to support new product development and manufacturing transitions.
• Process Optimization & Yield Improvement: monitor yields, efficiency, energy use, and implement improvements.
• Quality Assurance & SPC: support SPC, CAPA, testing, and traceability to meet specifications.
• Equipment & Technical Resource Management: identify equipment needs and oversee calibration and operation.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain process plans, ISO records, logs, and cross-functional coordination.
