Job summary

Verdantas is seeking an experienced environmental planning professional to join our California team. This senior‑level role requires a seasoned CEQA practitioner who can independently lead complex environmental reviews, manage multidisciplinary teams, and advise public‑ and private‑sector clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental planning and CEQA.
• Experience leading full EIR projects.
• Strong knowledge of CEQA guidelines.
• Excellent writing and client management skills.
• Ability to manage scopes and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA document preparation and management.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and integrate analyses for CEQA documents.
• Develop environmental review strategies and mitigation measures.
• Lead agency consultations, stakeholder engagement, and public meetings.
• Support proposals, project scoping, and QA/QC reviews.
