Job summary

Responsibilities include assigning routes, managing inventory and PAR levels, processing orders, and collaborating with clinical staff to meet needs.

Qualifications

• California driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to operate a university vehicle to deliver supplies.
• Experience using heavy-duty carts, dollies, and forklifts.
• Familiarity with materials management information systems and vendor software.
• Ability to follow healthcare infection control requirements.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic calculations and measurements.
• Understanding UCLA policies and procedures and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Allocate tasks and routes to staff for operations.
• Suggest inventory cost-reduction ideas and help set standards.
• Manage data entry, inventory, PAR levels, and backups.
• Order, receive, distribute, and deliver supplies timely.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to identify needs.
• Coordinate product substitutions with Procurement and vendors.
• Process orders for inventory picking.
• Maintain equipment (mobile devices, vehicles) for good condition.
