Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Central Mask (CM) Engineer to drive reticle quality, optimize processes, and elevate operational excellence across Micron’s global manufacturing sites.

You will define reticle specifications, collaborate with MTC and stakeholders, and lead initiatives to enhance fracture and tapeout workflows. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, mask operations, lithography, process engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong understanding of reticle manufacturing, fracture techniques, CD metrology, and tapeout processes.
• Proven experience leading technical projects and driving process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain reticle specifications in partnership with the Mask Technology Center (MTC) and manufacturing stakeholders across technology nodes.
• Drive continuous improvement of fracture, tapeout, and reticle preparation processes to improve quality, cycle time, and throughput.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve reticle, OPC, metrology, and process integration issues.
• Lead improvement projects that support manufacturing scalability, operational efficiency, and high-volume manufacturing growth.
• Evaluate process and tool performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement solutions that reduce cost and rework.
• Support implementation and adoption of best-known methods (BKMs) across global teams and manufacturing sites.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools, automation, and intelligent workflows to improve productivity, project execution, and operational effectiveness.
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge to strengthen organizational capability and drive consistent execution.
