Job summary

SeniorAge seeks the Center Lead (SCL) to manage day-to-day operations at Branson-Hollister Senior Center. You’ll act as the on-site branch manager, guiding staff and volunteers and ensuring smooth service delivery.

Collaborate with other SCLs and Care Coordinators countywide to coordinate programs, represent the center at meetings, and develop engaging senior services while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Supervisory or management experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Solid computer skills and familiarity with basic software.
  • Experience in public speaking or community outreach helpful.
  • Recreation activities such as dance, exercise or games are advantageous.
  • Arts and crafts experience is a plus for program activities.
  • Meal preparation or cooking knowledge is beneficial.
  • Food service knowledge can support center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all on-site operations of the senior center.

Salary Range: $19.00 - $19.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day

The SeniorAge Center Lead (SCL) is responsible for all on-site operations of a senior center, serving as an agency “branch manager.” The SCL also works in collaboration with all other SCLs and Care Coordinators in the county or local service area to assure coordinated coverage of services and representation at meetings affiliated with senior service. This involves program development and delivery, as well as SeniorAge center employee and volunteer supervision and management. He/she is responsible for the smooth and effective operation of a senior center’s community services. This individual is supervised directly by the District Team Leader.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

  • 2. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

Some travel may be required for this position within the county for assessments or outside the county for training sessions. Ability to withstand the physical demands of travel is a necessity.
