Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, plus vocational/technical training in cooking or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Must follow Fulton County policies and procedures and apply safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per approved menus for breakfast, lunch, snacks and special diets; performs prep tasks and ensures food safety through proper temperatures.
• Serves prepared food and conducts portion control; maintains records of meals served.
• Sanitizes and cleans surfaces and equipment per Fulton County policies; maintains cleanliness of refrigerators, freezers and storerooms.
• Maintains inventory, inspects deliveries, stores products properly, logs temperatures, and processes requisitions.
• Supervises interns and volunteers: coordinates and trains them.
