The City of Seattle is hiring a Cement Finisher to perform repair work on ADA ramps, sidewalks, and street panels, while leading crew members on-site. The role involves reading blueprints, coordinating with work orders, and ensuring quality finishes in outdoor environments.

Minimum qualifications include an apprenticeship or three years in concrete construction. Candidates should be able to read TCP plans and lead crews when required.

Qualifications

• Journey-level cement finisher apprenticeship or three years related experience.
• Must read blueprints and job plans.
• Must read TCP plans and experience setting up and taking down TCP's.
• Experience leading construction crews.

Responsabilités

• Performs structural cement repair work and directs subordinate workers on ADA ramps, street panels, sidewalks and voids.
• Assist in the maintenance, repair and construction of buildings and other facilities and in preparing walks and streets for paving operations.
• Reads blueprints, drawings, construction plans and work orders used in coordinating the work effort.
• Breaks out, removes, and replaces concrete ADA ramps, road panels, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and backfills voids.
• Repairs and installs decorative pavement including sidewalk tile and cobblestone, decorative brick.
