Job summary

Trilon Group is seeking a Sr CEI Inspector in Murfreesboro, TN, to perform field surveying, layout and construction inspections on TDOT projects. The role involves coordinating lower-level inspectors and reporting to the Project Administrator.

Expect outdoor work, travel, and a focus on QA, safety, and timely turnovers. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years CEI experience, a valid TN driver’s license with a clean MVR, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years CEI experience, including TDOT projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel as needed.
• Candidates must be trustworthy and responsible.
• Daily travel and/or overnight stays may be required.
• Valid TN driver’s license with a clean MVR.
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction activities in Murfreesboro, TN or Chattanooga, TN.
• Perform field surveying, construction layout, and inspection duties.
• Coordinate and manage lower-level inspectors.
• Work under supervision of Project Administrator.
• Meet project deadlines and maintain inspection records.
• Participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Monitor QA progress and contribute to turnovers.
