Job summary

Creative Engineering Group LLC is seeking a Senior CEI Inspector in the Miami area to oversee roadway and bridge construction inspections, ensuring adherence to plans, specs, and standards.

The role requires 4+ years CEI experience on FDOT/state projects, strong English communication, and ability to coordinate inspectors. Competitive hourly pay and full-time schedule available across Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years CEI experience in roadway and/or bridge construction.
• Prior FDOT-funded or State/Federal Aid construction project experience.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and engineering computations.
• Ability to manage multiple inspection activities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Field surveying and construction layout.
• Marking and checking engineering computations.
• Inspecting construction work for compliance with plans, specifications, and standards.
• Conducting required field tests and documentation.
• Coordinate, supervise, and manage the work of lower-level CEI inspectors.
• Assist with resolving construction issues and ensuring quality control.
• Perform duties under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
