Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an experienced Senior CEI Construction Inspector for roadway and bridge inspection projects in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on oversight, field testing, and coordinating inspectors to ensure quality and safety on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Eight years of construction inspection experience, roadway/bridge preferred.
• Must hold CTQP certifications: Concrete Field Tech I, II (Bridges), Pile Driving, Drilled Shaft.
• FDOT MOT training, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector, Nuclear Safety, Stormwater certs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage lower level inspectors on projects.
• Travel to project sites to oversee inspection and testing activities.
• Perform complex field surveying, layout, and inspection work.
• Compute quantities for concrete, asphalt, steel, earthwork, drainage, signals.
• Ensure QA/QC compliance with contract documents and procedures.
• Document field changes and as-built plans for records.
• Assist project engineer with progress payments and reports.
• Work in office or outdoor environments in varying weather.
