Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. in Warren, NJ, seeks a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Accounting Analyst for a hybrid role (3 in-office days, 2 remote). You will lead ceded accounts, bordereau production, and reconciliations, and interpret complex reinsurance contracts.

Responsibilities include coordinating with underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams, maintaining SOX controls, and driving process improvements in the ceded accounting system. Strong Excel/SQL skills and a GAAP mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or business.
• 4-6 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of ceded reinsurance accounting principles.
• Experience in property/casualty insurance or reinsurance preferred.
• Excel skills: PivotTables, VLOOKUP, advanced data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ceded accounts and bordereau for domestic operations.
• Manage collection and settlement of ceded balances; oversee cash application.
• Reconcile ceded accounts to the general ledger.
• Set up treaties and facultative reinsurance contracts in the system.
• Support quarterly/annual GAAP reporting and related analyses.
