Everest Global Services, Inc. in Warren, New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Ceded Reinsurance Accounting Analyst to lead ceded accounting and reporting for domestic operations. This hybrid role requires 3 days in the Warren office and 2 remote days.

Responsibilities include preparing ceded accounts, reconciliations, and contract interpretation while collaborating with underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams. A GAAP-focused professional with 4–6 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• 4–6 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong understanding of ceded reinsurance accounting principles and systems.
• Excellent analytical and collaboration skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation of ceded accounts and bordereau production for domestic operations.
• Manage collection and settlement of balances and cash application processes.
• Reconcile ceded accounts to the general ledger and analyze variances.
• Interpret complex reinsurance contracts and terms to guide accounting.
• Maintain treaties in the ceded reinsurance system and coordinate with underwriting.
• Support GAAP financial reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley control documentation.
• Drive process improvements in ceded reinsurance accounting processes.
