Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise CDN(Akamai), edge delivery, web performance, DNS, or related solutions.
• Strong software engineering and automation using Python, Go, or Node.js, plus Infrastructure as Code, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience leading complex production incidents, prioritizing urgent operational demands, and driving durable corrective actions.
• Ability to define reference architectures, set standards, and collaborate across application, cloud, network, security, and platform teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills with an ownership mindset.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and support after-hours releases.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve CDN and edge‑delivery architectures, standards, and reusable patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews, align cross‑functional teams, and resolve dependencies.
• Analyze incidents with logs, telemetry, and traffic analytics to improve health and latency.
• Provide on‑call support and coordinate service restoration during incidents.
• Mentor engineers through design reviews, investigations, and workshops.
• Define long‑term modernization roadmap balancing transformation with stability.
