Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Lead Driver to operate a straight truck and deliver life-saving medical products to local customers. You will build positive relationships, ensure timely, accurate, and safe deliveries, and mentor the transportation team.

Responsibilities include loading, securing, driving routes, unloading, documenting deliveries, coordinating with dispatch, maintaining logs, and performing vehicle safety checks.

Qualifications

• Must meet all Federal and State commercial vehicle regulations.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead local transportation team and motivate drivers.
• Serve as liaison between team and management and communicate goals.
• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate Class A or B vehicle on a delivery route.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities and provide on-site support.
• Communicate with dispatch to adjust routes and schedules as needed.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per regulations and policy.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adequate fuel.
