Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience in inpatient acute care or clinical setting.
• Foreign Medical Graduate (FMG) Degree.
• At least one (1) year of experience managing operational or project budgets.
• Minimum five (5) years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in clinical documentation improvement or integrity.
• Certification required at hire: CCDS OR CDIS OR CCS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates and advocates for developmental opportunities; builds collaborative relationships; sets goals and provides feedback.
• Oversees units/teams translating plans into action; ensures policies followed; partners with stakeholders.
• Oversees CDI reviews and documentation accuracy; mentors and serves as expert CDI resource.
• Drives CDI process improvements by analyzing reports and leading root cause analyses.
• Oversees training and education; partners with medical leadership to promote CDI trainings.
• Manages regulatory compliance; conducts audits and resolves non-compliance; stays updated on regulations.
