Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Manager with Direct Reports to lead CDI reviews, oversee scheduling and coverage of medical/health record reviews to promote accurate clinical documentation. You will mentor staff on resolving coding issues to facilitate proper DRG capture and guide process improvements in CDI programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of inpatient acute care or clinical setting experience.
• Minimum three (3) years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Minimum three (3) years in clinical documentation improvement or integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical documentation reviews and manage scheduling/coverage to ensure accurate documentation and DRGs.
• Oversee CDI program improvements through data analysis and root-cause analyses.
• Provide training on CDI practices and ensure regulatory compliance through audits.
