Job summary

The Summit Exercises and Training LLC is seeking a Sr Subject Matter Expert to support the Mobile Deployment Detection Unit (MDDU). You’ll lead location-based operations, surge deployments, and reporting for DHS CWMD initiatives, including AARs and stakeholder training.

Required are 10 years in RN detection and instrumentation, ability to lift 50 pounds, and travel 50–75% of the month across the U.S. You may deploy equipment by towable trailer and coordinate multi-location tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in R/N detection training and operations at events or steady state operations.
• Experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel 50–75% of each month.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize and report on all MDDU program planning and management taskings.
• Deploy MDDP equipment and transport equipment by towable trailer to designated locations.
• Coordinate, initiate and track deployments of the assigned MDDU and equipment.
• Ensure MDDU equipment is repaired, calibrated, and maintained 24/7/365.
• Provide coverage during standard and non-standard hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Provide just-in-time training on MDDU equipment to stakeholders.
• Ensure completion of AARs at the conclusion of deployments.
• Assist with scheduling off-site part-time staff for surge deployments.
• Provide status updates to the DHS CWMD MDDU PM.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
