Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking an experienced CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE Design Engineer to support new product development. You will develop 3D CAD models, manage complex surfaces, and create production drawings, all within a PLM-controlled environment.

This onsite role in Springfield, Missouri requires collaboration across cross-functional teams from concept to production release. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of design experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and a track record in new

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of product design and development experience.
• Strong hands-on CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE expertise.
• Proven background in new product development programs.
• Experience creating production-ready CAD models and drawings.
• Solid understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and DFM principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Onsite collaboration with customer engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D CAD models for component/product development using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Create and manage complex surface geometry with Generative Shape Design.
• Perform solid model creation, optimization, and design modifications.
• Integrate components into assemblies and validate fit and manufacturability.
• Generate detailed production drawings, GD&T annotations, and docs.
• Support design lifecycle and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards and PLM processes.
• Provide general CAD support for ongoing programs.
