Job summary

Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist III to supervise room staff, coordinate the schedule, and liaise with the Cath Lab management team to optimize resource use. The role encompasses circulating, scrub, and monitoring duties across invasive cardiology procedures, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The technologist will understand all procedures, equipment, and supplies, ensuring optimal patient care while maintaining high safety standards within the lab

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• CPR within 90 days of hire.
• Licensure required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Supervise room staff performance and coordinate the room schedule.
• Communicate with Cath Lab management to ensure efficient resource use.
• Perform circulating, scrub, and monitoring duties for invasive cardiology procedures.
• Understand equipment, supplies, indications, and safety for each procedure.
• Operate radiographic equipment following radiation safety procedures.
• Provide assistance to the Provider performing the procedure.
