Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel Cath Lab Technologist for assignment in Michigan City, Indiana. The role involves assisting the cardiac catheterization team, performing duties under the cardiologist/radiologist supervision, and delivering high-quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology lab.

Requirements include current licensure, relevant certifications, and ideally 2 years of Cath Lab experience, preferably in critical care.

Qualifications

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, and physicians to address needs.
• Operate ancillary equipment and prepare catheters, wires, and medications as ordered.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver cost-effective, high-quality patient care.
• Promote a safe, patient-focused work environment.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately.
