Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist III to supervise room staff, coordinate schedules, and support invasive cardiology procedures. The role requires ARRT certification, ACLS within 1 year, CPR within 90 days, and appropriate radiology licensure.

Travel is up to 20% and a sign-on bonus may be available. Work hours are 7:30a-4p, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• 1 year in x-ray technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification upon hire.
• ACLS within 1 year.
• CPR within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise room staff performance and coordinate the room’s schedule.
• Communicate with Cath Lab management to ensure efficient resource use.
• Assist with circulating, scrub, and monitoring during invasive procedures.
• Understand equipment, supplies, and indications for each procedure.
• Maintain high-quality patient care and safety in the Cath Lab.
• Train and educate new staff in the cardiac catheterization lab.
