Job summary

Platte Valley Hospital seeks a CV Invasive Specialist II to perform catheterization procedures with minimal supervision, using independent judgment in invasive and interventional settings. The role requires RCIS/RCES or ARRT-CI/VI credentials or RN with relevant experience; candidates should understand x-ray safety and imaging operations.

The position includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs, and hours are Mon-Fri 0730-1600.

Qualifications

BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications or equivalent required within timelines.
Experience with invasive cardiovascular procedures or electrophysiology expected.
Must maintain CME credits annually and demonstrate CVIS/CVES competency.

Responsibilities

Scrub, circulate, and monitor in diagnostic and interventional procedures per scope.
Document procedure data, imaging, hemodynamics, and registry entries.
Assist with equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting in the cath lab.
Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families.
May administer medications under physician direction per state rules; RCIS/RCES credentialing required to pass meds.
Orient and train staff and participate in Skills Day workshops.
