Job summary

Aramark in Washington, DC is seeking a Catering Services Manager to lead all catering solutions and special events at the location. You will guide the catering team to deliver events that meet client expectations and Aramark service standards.

This salaried role requires at least 2 years of experience, prior management or supervisory background, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You will develop solutions, supervise staff, and ensure safety and quality across events.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of experience.
• Prior experience in management or supervisory role preferred.
• Previous experience in events, hospitality and catering preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Available to work event-based hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop and complete catering solutions to meet customers' needs.
• Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Deliver consistent quality in planning and carrying out events.
• Facilitate the delivery of prepared food and setup of events from banquet event orders.
• Assist clients in planning special events and providing creative solutions.
• Train and lead catering employees to ensure catering and event standards are followed.
• Provide completed Banquet Event Orders to team and ensure requests are met before events.
• Responsible for delivering food and labor targets.
• Responsible for execution of catering events of varied size and scope including staffing and management.
• Ensure accurate reporting of catering revenue, expenses, and receivables.
• Recruit, train, schedule and develop team members.
• Ensure compliance with food, occupational, and environmental safety policies.
