Town and Country Resort in San Diego seeks an Assistant Director of Catering & Convention Services to lead the planning and execution of meetings, conventions, social events, weddings, and all the details that come with them.

You will partner with clients, review BEOs and timelines, and coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Sales, Finance, and other departments to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in hotel catering or convention services.
• Knowledge of BEOs, timelines, room setups, and F&B coordination.
• Experience managing multiple events and priorities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with executive-level clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Catering & Convention Services team from turnover to farewell.
• Partner with clients to understand vision and timelines.
• Review BEOs, diagrams, timelines, and event details.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, Sales, Finance.
• Conduct pre-convention meetings and briefings.
• Monitor execution and resolve issues proactively.
• Coach and develop team members and uphold service standards.
