Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to define category strategies for high-spend programs and lead strategic supplier negotiations.

You will partner with Engineering, Project Management, Legal, Construction, Finance, and Operations to develop bid packages, evaluate proposals, and support project execution. This role requires 6+ years of procurement experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Category management experience in high-spend, high-complexity purchases.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 6+ years procurement experience.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines category strategies.
• Develop requirements with customer SMEs.
• Travels to meet vendors and field personnel.
• Supports procurement teams to execute category strategy.
• Negotiates with key suppliers and advises leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
