Job summary

Exelon in Baltimore, MD is seeking a senior procurement leader to develop sourcing strategies across multiple categories and drive value while mitigating risk. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility, requiring presence three days a week in select offices.

The successful candidate will partner with Legal and business-unit leaders, oversee supplier relationships, and negotiate terms to optimize costs and performance. Travel to Exelon sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, science or related field required.
• 4–7 years of experience, or 6–9 years if no degree.
• Demonstrated project and change management skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of category and supply management concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies and lead key sourcing initiatives.
• Maintain the primary contact for supplier/customer issues and monitor performance against contracts.
• Lead and support supplier relationship development programs and meetings.
• Provide direction to contract administrators and sourcing specialists.
• Identify and implement sourcing best practices and forecast market trends.
• Manage category spend and risk analysis; mitigate risk where possible.
• Lead negotiations of commercial and legal terms with vendors.
