Fresh Thyme Farmers Market is seeking a Category Manager to lead assigned grocery categories across our Midwest stores. You will develop pricing, promotions, and assortment plans, partner with vendors, and drive sales, margin, and customer satisfaction.

In Downers Grove, IL, the role blends in-office and remote work with travel. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent grocery experience and 5–7 years in produce merchandising, category management, pricing, and promotions are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent grocery industry experience.
• 5–7 years grocery retail experience with category management, pricing, promotions, and assortment planning.
• Strong Produce category knowledge and understanding of market trends.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement pricing, promotions, assortment and shelf schematics for each category.
• Develop yearly business plans and budgets by category based on trends.
• Negotiate with vendors on pricing, products and calendars; liaise with stores and DCs.
