Job summary

INDEVCO North America is seeking a Category Manager for Packaging in Texas. The role combines product management with strategic procurement to own categories from supplier selection through lifecycle management.

You will collaborate across Sales, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to maintain a competitive product portfolio and superior supply performance. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in related fields, strong negotiation skills, and experience with packaging

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a supply chain or related field is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in strategic procurement, product/ category management, or packaging industries.
• Experience negotiating multimillion-dollar supplier agreements and managing portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies across assigned product families.
• Own the supplier base and lifecycle from selection to discontinuation.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Operations, Quality, and Finance.
• Analyze profitability and optimize pricing, costs, and terms.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive supplier performance reviews.
• Manage supply continuity and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor market trends and provide leadership with market intelligence.
