Job summary

HelloFresh in New York is seeking an experienced sourcing manager to join our Packaging Strategic Procurement team. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve cost structure, product quality, the reliability of our supply chain, and will support innovation through new product development.

You will own categories, build strong supplier relationships, lead price negotiations and contract management, and drive end-to-end savings with data-driven decision making in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain operations and strategic sourcing functions; or operating in management consulting focused on strategy
• 3+ years of packaging sourcing experience preferred
• Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Fluent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and Google Suite
• Experience leading large initiatives and sourcing events through strategic sourcing processes

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned categories to develop and optimize our supply network
• Refine and implement sourcing strategies that reduce cost and risk while improving processes
• Build and maintain a strong supplier base and manage relationships with strategic suppliers
• Drive cost savings initiatives through the strategic sourcing process and ensure budget targets are met
• Leverage data, benchmarks, and analytics to identify cost reduction opportunities and best practices
• Onboard new vendors and SKUs to improve cost and customer experience
• Work with Procurement Operations to set execution plans and ensure contract compliance
