Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Category Manager in the United States to lead category strategies and supplier relationship management company-wide. The role focuses on developing and implementing a robust preferred supplier program that drives value for clients.

You will lead cross-functional teams, establish category plans, and drive value through industry best practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and contract standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in facilities category management or supply chain operations.
• Certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, C.P.M. preferred or demonstrated ongoing professional growth.
• Deep knowledge of procurement and fundamentals.
• Subject matter expertise in facility services trades.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Driven mindset with persistence to achieve goals.
• Ability to develop innovative strategies and solutions.
• Experience in contract negotiation and ongoing management.
• Analytical skills to mine data for client spend analysis.
• Experience building and managing diverse supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Removes roadblocks to enable delivery of procurement, company and client goals.

• Establishes category plans and strategy to align with service line priorities.
• Drives EBITDA growth through preferred suppliers.
• Incorporates industry best practices into category delivery.
• Utilizes demand planning to target value from supplier agreements.
• Monitors supplier utilization and builds rosters to meet account needs.
• Develops and understands data analytics to analyze client 3rd party spend.
• Ensures effective commercial arrangements.
• Communicates metrics and drives adoption of the preferred supplier network.
• Maintains strong relationships with business units and category management team.
• Delivers results by achieving goals in a timely manner.
• Delivers communications with clarity and impact.
• Leads cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Operations, Technology, HR, and Project Management.
• Works with Legal Counsel to ensure negotiator templates and risk mitigation.
