Ørsted is seeking a strategic procurement professional to lead inverter and BESS equipment sourcing for utility-scale renewable projects in the Washington, DC area. You will work across engineering, development, construction, commercial and legal teams to secure favorable commercial outcomes and ensure on-time project delivery.

You will drive category strategies, manage supplier relationships, and lead competitive tenders while monitoring market dynamics and risks to strengthen the procurement

Qualifications

• Experience in inverter and BESS procurement or related utility-scale equipment is preferred.
• Ability to lead competitive sourcing events and complex negotiations.
• Strong market intelligence and ability to translate insights into strategy.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for inverter and BESS equipment.
• Lead end-to-end tender processes including supplier engagement, evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
• Collaborate with engineering, development, construction, finance, tax and legal to support project execution.
• Monitor markets, supplier capacity, pricing trends and risks to provide market insights and recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial agreements including pricing, delivery, warranties and terms.
• Support contract management and drive procurement process improvements.
