Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a data-driven Senior Insights Analyst to turn market, shopper, and category data into actionable recommendations that grow our Retail business.

You will partner with Sales, Category Management, Marketing, and Innovation to shape selling stories and support decisive actions. Responsibilities include leading category insights, building dashboards, and delivering insight-led recommendations across pricing, promotion, assortment, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in category management or insights, ideally in CPG; dairy experience a plus.
• Experience with syndicated/retail data sources like Circana, Kantar, NielsenIQ.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or visualization tools a plus.
• Excellent communication and storytelling; translate analytics into action.

Responsibilities

• Lead category insights for Everyday Cheese and Specialty Cheese, translating trends into growth opportunities.
• Provide insight-led recommendations for pricing, promotion, assortment, distribution, and shopper behavior.
• Track performance to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities across category, segment, brand, and SKUs.
• Create data-driven selling stories to support Sales in influencing customers and growth.
• Turn data into action by combining syndicated data, internal sales data, and shopper insights.
• Collaborate with Category Management, Sales, Marketing, Innovation, and other teams to improve decision-making.
• Own reporting tools: dashboards, scorecards, trackers, and recurring reports.
• Manage data partnerships to maintain reporting quality and data integrity.
• Handle ad-hoc analyses with speed and sound business judgment.
