Job summary

Ledgebrook Insurance, LLC. is seeking an experienced Catastrophe Modeler & Analytics Specialist to join the Property Pricing team. You will model property risks, monitor portfolio exposure to catastrophes, and communicate insights to underwriters and leadership.

You’ll collaborate with engineering, finance, and actuarial teams to build a robust property portfolio and automate CAT modeling workflows using RMS and other tools.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience analyzing P&C insurance data in actuarial/analytics/finance contexts.
• Proficiency with SQL, Excel and Power BI for data exploration, modeling and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to trace data issues to source.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows to improve efficiency.
• Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Model individual E&S property submissions using RMS to deliver loss metrics (AAL, PML).
• Model and monitor aggregate exposures and tail risks across the portfolio.
• Improve data quality and create automated validation checks for submissions.
• Develop automated CAT modeling pipelines from raw data to results.
• Create portfolio analytics dashboards in Power BI, Python, and SQL.
• Collaborate with Capital Modeling, Finance, Actuarial and Data Engineering to embed insights into pricing and capital decisions.
• Translate model outputs into actionable insights for underwriters and executives.
