AXA XL in Stamford, CT is seeking a Casualty Claims Manager, Reinsurance to lead a team handling North America casualty and property reinsurance claims. You will provide technical direction, ensure claim handling quality, and deliver market-leading services to internal clients and external brokers and cedents.

You will collaborate with the Head of Claims for Americas and global colleagues to implement strategies, manage performance, and drive improvements across the claims function.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced experience in casualty claims with reinsurance experience preferred.
• Technical proficiency across P&C lines and large claims management.
• Experience with setting reserves and large loss reporting.
• Proven track record managing people and professional development.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and coach a team of P&C reinsurance claims professionals.
• Oversee daily activities in line with AXA XL guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Review referrals and manage disputed claims with the Head of Claims for the Americas and AXA XL Re Legal.
• Manage pending reinsurance treaty and Facultative claims for Casualty lines.
• Review contracts to verify coverage, exposure, and authorize payments.
• Use data analytics to identify casualty claims trends for underwriting and reserving.
• Maintain regular communication with underwriters and actuaries on developments and trends.
• Support regional stakeholders to ensure exceptional claim support and client service.
• Build and maintain client relationships with cedents and brokers.
• Lead claim reviews and prepare narrative reports; drive continuous improvement.
