A leading company in the aerospace sector seeks a Senior Casting Technology Engineer to provide technical support and lead innovative projects. The role involves mentoring suppliers, collaborating cross-functionally, and pursuing process improvements. Roles and Responsibilities
Technical process ownership for sand castings.
Partner with sourcing team members on Casting supplier development and cost out projects
Mentor suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements and new technologies
Work cross functionally with quality and design engineers to ensure that new processes achieve established metrics
Design and implement manufacturing processes and systems for control and replenishment of materials
Plan and implement process-engineering activities for new product development and current product support
Investigate and apply new technology
Pursue continuous improvement for quality and cost reductions in designated area
Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance
Communicate progress & challenges to leadership teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years Aerospace Casting Experience)
Minimum of 5 years Sand, Investment, and/or Centrifugal Casting experience
Desired Characteristics
Structural Casting expertise, specifically Sand Castings
Equiax investment casting expertise
Established project management skills
Additive manufacturing experience
New Product Introduction experience
Siemens NX proficiency (or comparable CAD system)
TRL / MRL maturation experience
APQP / PPAP experience

The base pay range for this position is111,700.00 - 148,800.00 - 186,200.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors,including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.This position is also eligiblefor an annual discretionary bonus based on apercentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.

SPB3This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
