Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Technician, Casting Finishing at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. The role focuses on manual finishing of metal castings, deburring, blending, and achieving defined tolerances per drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

You will visually inspect castings throughout the process, maintain traceability, and complete production and quality records while collaborating with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to meet safety, quality,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in foundry/ casting/ aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience grinding, deburring, blending, polishing, or metal-finishing operations.
• Experience reading engineering drawings or manufacturing travelers.
• Familiarity with grinding wheels, abrasives, belt grinders, and related tools.
• Experience in a quality-controlled or traceability-driven environment.
• Familiarity with basic dimensional inspection tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand and belt grinders to finish metal castings.
• Remove excess material, flash, gates, burrs and other imperfections.
• Finish castings per work instructions, drawings, specs, and tolerances.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels, belts, abrasives, and tools.
• Inspect castings before, during, and after finishing for defects.
• Maintain material/lot traceability and complete production records.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and other teams to resolve issues.
