Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience
• Understanding of cloud, virtualization, APIs, and modern software languages
• Software development experience in Java programming language
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI-enabled development practices and governance
• Ability to read and understand source code

Responsibilities

• Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design frameworks
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Collaborate with a skilled engineering team to develop automation and self-service tools for Cassandra across private and public clouds
• Focus on delivering a consumer-driven, world-class Cassandra platform for JPMorganChase's critical systems, enhancing customer experience
• Architects and governs agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows with guardrails for validation, security, and reuse
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development, to improve automation at scale
• Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within domain of expertise
• Influences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
