Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Cashier III to provide exceptional guest service at our McCalla, AL location. You will operate the POS, process transactions, maintain a clean and stocked area, and help with stocking, receiving, and cycle counts.

The role supports training junior cashiers and ensures accuracy in end-of-day reporting while upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cashier roles, solid POS knowledge, merchandising experience, and flexibility to work nights,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude
• Process transactions on a POS register; maintain a clean, well-stocked area
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and unloading product; stock and rotate merchandise
• Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist with end of day reporting and training of junior cashiers
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations
• Establish rapport with leaders and coworkers
